The Bishop of the Eparchy of Shamshabad entrusted to the Little Flower Province, Gorkhpur the territories comprising Bihar, Jharkhand and parts of Uttar Pradesh to carry out evangelization with administrative autonomy. This new mission endeavour has been initiated with a motive to cater to the pastoral needs of the Syro Malabar migrants here. Fr. Lona Kallely of this Province was appointed the Vicar General of Shamshabad for these territories.

An appartment was taken on rent Patna in October 2021 to establish an Ashram of the Province and an office of Little Flower Mission Education Society, Gorakhpur in Patna under the Syro Malabar Diocese of Shamshabad. It was blessed and inagurated by Most Rev. Dr. Sebastian Kallupura, Archdiocese of Patna on 18 November, 2021. Fr. Lona Kallely was appointed Superior of the this Ashram. This Ashram looks after the spiritual needs of the faithfuls especially under Syro Malabar Rite.
