Our desire to extent our activities in the state of Bihar partially materialized in the year 2013 when we could purchase land in Raxaul, East Champaran Dist. under the Diocese of Bettiah to establish our mission as a starting point. We started an Ashram in a temporary shed in the year 2016. Fr. Elevakunnel Cherian is the first priest in-charge of the mission. In the year 2023 St. Basil`s Ashram was shifted to the present permanent building.

St. Basil`s school was started in the year 2017-18. Fr. Cherian Elevakunnel is the first Principal of the School. Sisters of SacredHeart (SSH) - Patna Province collaborated with us in our pastoral and educational services. At present their convent is in the school hostel.
